From the Editor's desk

Hello to all the readers!

Wish you all a productive, inspirational, happy and prosperous New Year 2026 ahead.

So here comes another issue of Ghudsavar Literary Magazine! As time goes on, Ghudsavar's name is spreading, and we receive more and more submissions. This means that, while for English submissions, I am still prompt to respond, within a week or two, but for Hindi submissions, which have become very voluminous now, it sometimes takes me even as long as 3-4 months to respond! This is heartening, though: the magazine's Hindi section is reaching small-town India and very young generations, and that was one of the key objectives behind me to start this endeavour.

No wise words from the Editor this time. I am so busy in so much work, that this issue has already got delayed by a few days! But I hope that the selection of poems pleases you: even though translation apps cannot do any justice to poetry, I still encourage non-Hindi-speaking English readers to translate, using their favourite app, some of the Hindi poems in this issue. Such cross-pollination would help you in seeing glimpses of different literary worlds and may be inspirational to you.

Finally, I apologise for any mistakes or typos in the issue that may have crept in. Also, I need to work on the design a little bit when I get time, as I think sometimes the labels can get difficult to read, but I hope the poems themselves can be read without any problems.

Have a joyful and thoughtful time reading Ghudsavar!
