Thundercat
I was in the living room of John's home at 147th St,
Never took the subway this far up north, but tonight is Desert Dwellers at Sony Hall and John and Lana promised to join.
As I wait for them to get ready, a wild Thor appears.
His 4 by 16 dimensions are perfect for this house.
As he crawls across crumbs on the cozy couch and peers out the window,
the golden hour decided to knight him as he is finally deemed worthy to
earn the title of a young lion.
I think that was the only time I met Thor before he died last spring.
John only found out after returning from a work trip.
They never tell humans about what happens when Gods die.
This lion went to the rainbow bridge one night, leaving behind nothing but his light,
Even though his orange fur will no longer meet our sight.
His subjects still wait around, but it seems that the price of being
King of the jungle is that sometimes, you live all nine lives at once.
And we spend our own life missing the majestic beast you used to be.
