took refuge from a heavy thundery storm

and

shower

more of  than I’d have

liked,

the wind howled

high tide roared

lighting stayed

flying beyond,

exhausted,

I started running.

I forgot to close

my mouth

a once marine green

leaf went in and

came out,

so did a

fly.
